Q: Our house walls need more insulation and they should be more soundproof. We are also planning to add on a bedroom. Will insulation make the existing rooms quieter and the new room more soundproof?

My mother has a 50" LCD TV mounted to a common wall shared with another condo, and they've complained about the noise (though her TV volume is set at reasonable levels, and her hearing is good).
