(The crowd goes mild 🥳) Friday night, Oct. 10, through Monday morning, Oct. 13, will mark the first of six weekends of southbound lane reductions to finish drainage improvements. We've seen some images from our SR 20 North Cascades Highway clearing effort from the east side, but how about from the west side? Crews report that at the close of Monday they'd made it to milepost 153 (the gate is closed at milepost 134, east of Diablo). They found about 25 inches of snow on the centerline. Still no estimate yet on when the highway will be open. | WSDOT
